Proposed site ban for User:Marrovi

[trocar el manadero]

My apologies for writing in English. I have proposed a site ban for Marrovi. Details, and the discussion, are being held on Marrovi's talk page, as he is under a one month block at the present time. Please contribute to the discussion there. StevenJ81 (discusión) • 26 Nissán 5778 • 17:52 11 abr 2018 (UTC)

User:Marrovi was indefinitely blocked by Katxis at 8:01, 14 abr 2018 (UTC). I'm not sure this ever formally closed, because Marrovi agreed to "leave on his own". Nevertheless, functionally, the site ban is approved, so the block cannot be appealed until 14 abr 2019. StevenJ81 (discusión) • 26 Elul 5778 • 15:32 6 sep 2018 (UTC)

Editing of sitewide CSS/JS is only possible for interface administrators from now

[trocar el manadero]

(Por favor, ayuda a traducir a tu idioma)

Hi all,

as announced previously, permission handling for CSS/JS pages has changed: only members of the interface-admin (Administradores de interfaz) group, and a few highly privileged global groups such as stewards, can edit CSS/JS pages that they do not own (that is, any page ending with .css or .js that is either in the MediaWiki: namespace or is another user's user subpage). This is done to improve the security of readers and editors of Wikimedia projects. More information is available at Creation of separate user group for editing sitewide CSS/JS. If you encounter any unexpected problems, please contact me or file a bug.

Thanks!

Note, with an apology for writing in English: This is now in place. This project has no permanent interface administrators, and probably should not have them. Since bureaucrats can grant and remove this right, what makes sense is that if something needs to be edited, the right be granted temporarily only, even if the 'crat is granting the right to himself. Other 'crats/sysops, please ping me if you have a question. StevenJ81 (discusión) • 26 Elul 5778 • 15:37 6 sep 2018 (UTC)
