Hello. I've read your message to Gerard on translatewiki.net. I think the problem you are wanting to solve is in this page => MediaWiki:Sidebar. This MediaWiki page allows you to change the words of the sidebar menu. :) The best way to do it is just to change the text here MediaWiki:Mainpage-description. I don't know if you still have problems in the redirect of main page, but if you have I can try to help you on this too.

Muito obrigado Jesielt :) I was having those difficulties for a long time. One question though I have to ask, should I create MediaWiki:Sidebar directly on Wikipedia, or should I find the corresponding message in translatewiki and change it there? Is it this? On pt.wikt we had the same problem with the main page. On the MediaWiki:Sidebar, you have the following:

• navigation
  • mainpage|mainpage-description
  • portal-url|portal
  • currentevents-url|currentevents
  • recentchanges-url|recentchanges
  • randompage-url|randompage
  • helppage|help
  • sitesupport-url|sitesupport

It "tells" the system to show the text that is on MediaWiki:mainpage-description (the text there is Página de Entrada) and to give the link that is on MediaWiki:mainpage (Página de Entrada).

Then, if you go on MediaWiki:mainpage-description and change the text by La Hoja Primera, the system will show this phrase on the side bar menu.

An then, if you go on MediaWiki:mainpage and chang the text by La Hoja Primera, when you click on side bar menu the link will be the page La Hoja Primera directly.

The secret is all in the MediaWiki namespace pages.. :)

Well, you asked me if you should change the pages here or on traslatewiki. I think you have to do both. I really don't know how many time the pepople of "Media Wiki" takes to update the messages of the wikimedia fundation sites. If you make changes just there, in translatewiki.net, it may takes one year (I don't know) until the messages here be updated. But, if you translate there you'll help other future projects in Ladino (like wikibooks, wikiversity, etc. etc. etc.).

Ah, finally, I do also have "bot" in the pt.wikt. If you need help to make mass changes, like changing or adding Plantillas, or to create mass pages, I can help you too. ;)

Waw, I actually did it thanks to you. I changed the link you provided me (MediaWiki:Sidebar) and it worked. For now, I deleted it and changed the same message on MediaWiki, I'll see if it works. Saludes Taichi, Estó bueno i espero que estás bueno también :) La verdad es que, agora, llo so un traductor de interfaz también i estube mirando a tresladar los messajes desde el MediaWiki. Antes de empeçar de renombrar los "Wikipedias" como "Vikipedias", troquí dos messajes de interfaz i aquí i en el MediaWiki ande pude escribir "Vikipedia". Ma la cosa es que la interfaz, llo no la conoçco muy bien i entoncés no sé muy bien cual messaj corresponde a cualo.       • No, I don't have any relation to the language nor any Jewish ancestry. I just live in the town, and love it's history and old culture. There are only ~1000 speakers of the language currently in Thessaloniki but there where many more before the holocaust... :(, Jews were the greater proportion of the city's population when it became part of Greece (1912), and hence the town was once a Jewish town "Jerusalem of the Balkans" --Egmontaz 15:06 10 Feb 2010 (UTC)

El Bierzo

Ante todo perdón por no saber escribir en ladino.

El motivo del mensaje es acerca del artículo El Bierzo en el que he observado que te ha sido corregida una edición sustituyéndola por otra errónea (aquí).

He añadido un mapa correcto, con los 38 municipios que forman la Comarca de El Bierzo (no 37, como ponía en el artículo). Aparte de esto, lo que me ha llamado la atención es que el usuario que "corrigió" y deshizo tu edición (Usador:Pablox), es un usuario habitual de la Wikipedia en español, y ese usuario sabe de sobra (ya que es un editor habitual de ese mismo artículo en la edición española, como puedes comprobar) que los municipios que forman la Comarca son 38 y no 37.. Pero lo que más me ha llamado la atención es que al "corregir" tu edición, ese usuario añade un mapa en el que aparecen sólo 35 municipios formando parte de El Bierzo (la comarca empezó con 37 municipios pero posteriormente se incorporó Palacios del Sil siendo el 38, pero nunca tuvo 35 municipios).

Como se que ese usuario conoce perfectamente los municipios que forman El Bierzo (precisamente le llame la atención hace tiempo en la Wikipedia en español por hacer algo similar) esto sólo se puede explicar como un sabotaje a su enciclopedia (los motivos serán cosa de él). Le dejo enlace a la página Web del Consejo Comarcal de El Bierzo (la institución pública oficial que gobierna El Bierzo) para que pueda comprobarlo y le invito a consultar el historial de este mismo artículo en la [1] Wikipedia en español para comprobar que no se trata de ningún error y que aquí no cabe interpretar buena fe, ya que, como he dicho, ese usuario conoce perfectamente que lo que redacta es erróneo.

Esta muy buena! Ma kreyo que las letras Æ, œ, ů, ē i Ź va ser zor ke la djente las eskriva. Mientres mas kolay i simple, amijor, deke mas djente va pueder eskrivir sin penserios! Endemas muncha djente no va kerer eskrivir kon las letras Q, Ñ i C deke no son djeneralmente relasionadas con la lingua (anke la C es uzada en Turkiya ma kon otro sonete). Komo vites, trokí la ortografía un poko, dœśpués de aver diskutido kon filólogos, akí en Yeruxaláyim. La basa no se trokó ma trokí la "c/qu" kon la "k" i agora uso más la "v", i no tengo más -bb- ets. Y ay unas diferensias.
